About Jackie McHargue
AP® U.S. History

Jackie McHargue has been a College Board consultant since 1998 and a Faculty Consultant for the AP Reading since 2001. She has a B.A. in history from the University of Texas at Arlington and a M.A. in history from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has taught and created curriculum for both AP® and Pre-AP™ courses at Duncanville High School. For multiple years she has been nominated by former students as a teacher who "mad a difference in his or her life" and selected for the first and several subsequent editions of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Nominated for the Otis Lock Award for Excellence in Teaching-Secondary and selected by the East Texas State Historical Association for this award.
