About Ronessa McDonald
AP® English Language

Ronessa McDonald teaches English IIIAP and Sociology at Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas. This year marks her twenty first year in the classroom. The first twelve years were spent at Judson High School in Converse, Texas, where she began her work with the Advanced Placement program, becoming an AP English Language and Composition teacher in 1997 and a College Board Consultant in 2000. Ms. McDonald began work with the College Board by presenting at two-day conferences, then moved to Lead Consultant for AP Summer Institutes in 2006. In addition, Ms. McDonald has been a Reader for the AP English Language and Composition Exam since 2003. Ms. McDonald holds a BA degree in English and Sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
