AP® Economics (Micro & Macro)

This course will cover the major topics that are required for teaching AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics for both new and experienced teachers. The first day will include the basics of setting up an AP course: materials, resources, pacing and teaching techniques that will result in student success. AP testing skills will be emphasized and copies of previous tests and free response questions will be provided. Sample textbooks will be available. Teachers are encouraged to bring their current text and supplemental materials. Experienced teachers (2+ years) are requested to bring a favorite economics lesson to share.
